Ryan holds an Executive Master’s in Leadership (EML) from Georgetown University and a B.A in Communication Studies, Mass Media Emphasis with a minor in Chemistry from the University of San Diego.

He served as a Regional Director, Director of Expansion, and Director of Resource Development at Sigma Phi Epsilon’s (SigEp) national headquarters.  As a facilitator he implemented goal setting, risk management, leadership education, and recruitment programs for groups of five to 300, resulting in national awards and significant membership growth.

After transitioning to the SigEp Educational Foundation, 501(C)(3), in 2004, he managed and implemented over ten capital campaigns, which collectively produced more than $10 million in donations for the improvement, modification, expansion, and acquisition of fraternity housing throughout the United States.

Ryan began his sales career with Kashi Cereal Company. He designed and implemented Kashi’s public relations campaign during the Kellogg’s acquisition in 2000. Today, he is a Regional Sales Manager for Dot Foods, Inc., the largest privately held ($3.5 billion) foodservice redistribution company in the United States, specializing in logistics and supply chain solutions for the food industry.

When Ryan isn’t producing results or leading change professionally, you’ll find him on his boat exploring the Pacific Ocean, under the seas scuba diving, or skiing the backcountry of Sun Valley, Idaho.

Ryan’s deviated performance specialties include: sales training, recruiting quality talent, ensuring diversity and inclusion, building effective teams, strategic planning, brainstorming, using entertainment to develop successful partnerships, and handling difficult conversations and problems in complex environments.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Created an operation’s manual, outlining a new philosophy to recruit, hire, and develop high performance individuals resulting in the largest new member increase in over 100 years.
  • Leveraged teambuilding and entrepreneurial strengths to organize and execute 21 new start-ups.
  • For the past three years he has led a sales management team in a fourteen state region to consistently exceed the company’s overall sales objectives.
  • Facilitated goal setting and strategic planning retreats for private and non-profit organizations making goal setting fun!
  • Motivated over 1000 students to achieve personal and professional success by helping them clarify their personal values and vision.
