Trevor KingProfessional Facilitator & Performance Consultant, Deviate LLC

Trevor King, an Ultra-Distance Triathlete regularly competing in ultra running, cycling, swimming and triathlon events, has raced everything from sprints to Ironman World Championships, Ultra-man World Championships and 24-hour events. As an ultra-age grouper, Trevor regularly places in the top five.

Trevor races for a reason, to remember the pain of his past addiction to drugs and alcohol while cherishing each moment moving forward. He also suffers from Bipolar I Disorder, a disease he has learned to use as a driving force in sports and life. Trevor shares his experiences hoping he may reduce the stigma of mental illness and raise money for research. He is a speaker and group motivator emphasizing growth from challenge, re-framing in adversity and mental compartmentalization.

Trevor has extensive coaching experience in swimming, triathlon, and life. He has also helped top age groupers reach the podium through improvements in functional strength, aerobic conditioning, technique, nutrition, and mental acuity.

Prior to pursuing coaching full-time, he built a career in sales, marketing, branding and promotions. Most recently he was a Senior Immunization Specialist for one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. He has significant experience selling products and services to all levels of leadership in medicine and industry.

Trevor’s deviated performance specialties include: performance and endurance coaching, transformation, and overcoming adversity.
